I was recently invited to check out the sheikh and stylish newly developed Collins Square and what I discovered was a secret little oasis just on the outskirts of the CBD reminiscent of underground NYC.

The Food List

With some unique eateries, not your same same food court staples, my tastebuds were taken on a little morning adventure. Kick things off with a coffee from Meister, they serve smooth and creamy Melbourne coffee, smoothies and cute little toasties.

The Mr Burger team have come up Super Tacos, healthy Mexican including taco’s, chicken and pumpkin burrito bowls and their sweet potato fries with ancho chilli and red onion. As a self-confessed chip girl, I struggled with needing to share the friend with my friends they were so damn good!

I’m in love with Nori rolls and can’t believe I’ve found a new place to satisfy this obsession. Nosh is modern-Asian with poke bowls and Nori Tacos. My fav Poke Bowl was their Poke Party with salmon sashimi on coconut and turmeric infused rice and loads of sesame sauce.

Insiders hint: In the next month or so a new and buzzing bar is making its way to the eatery. It’s called Hightail and it sounds like the perfect indoors winter Melbourne cocktail hideaway. Friday night Espresso ladiezzz?

And for a sweet treat to finish things off, try a cronut & co. Their hazelnut croissant/doughnut (cronut) has a whole Snickers on top. And if you want a little hit before work, I recommend their light and savoury pumpkin treat.

The Fun List

Just make sure you save some time for a little shop in one of the trendiest places to go shopping and you won’t believe it, it’s a pharmacy. Capsule Pharmacy is not just good for a quick fill of your medication, it’s got a stunning range of giftware, cosmetics and fashion accessories. So, if you forgot your colleagues b’day and you need to sneak out to get a cute gift, they will save you with their range of goodies.

Here’s my hot tip, instead of treating yourself to a Friday long lunch, why not spend the time pampering yourself at Ella Bache. They’re tucked into the corner so you can quietly slip in and out – and for an hour you can feel like you’ve totally escaped the grind. And if you’re lucky the gorgeous Mary with her dulcet Irish accent will pamper you with the most delicious feeling and smelling gels, creme and steam.
