BEER AND NIBBLES
African Beer and Food Safari
Take your tastebuds on an African adventure. Start your journey with St. George Amber a perfect complement to hot and spicy Ethiopian food. Venture on to taste Kenya’s Tusker Malt Lager paired with slow cooked beef short ribs, ful medames, mocha and bone marrow. Finally, cap off the evening with some South African Hansa Pilsener & Koeksister dumplings.

Bib Fest 2016
Seafood lover? Grab a beer-based cocktail and bib the moment you enter and then be prepared to get messy when food and games collide. Think fresh prawn peeling competition, a finger-licking good chicken and gravy raffle, soft shell crab sliders with a side of trivia, and chili fries alongside a paper plane throwing competition.

Swing Low Sweet Chariot
This one’s for all the sweet tooths. Indulge in a 5-course multi-sensory dessert degustation, paired with Temple Brewing Company’s core range of beers along with a couple of beers brewed exclusively for this event! We love this venue, so try and make your way to this awesome space!

SOMETHING TOTALLY DIFFERENT
The Brewery Cinema
Kick back and relax on a cushy beanbag and watch some cult Tarantino classics at the Hawkers Beer Brewery. Knock back a few pints of Hawkers beer, scarf down a pizza, and you’re set for the night!

Kaiju! Beer and Boardgames
Bring your competitive spirit to Nieuw Amsterdam and play a few rounds of board games. Victory will taste even better with a one-off Kaiju geek inspired brew. They’ll also have your old favorites on hand.

Arcade Lock-in Session
Get transported to the nerdiest but funnest parts of your childhood! Forgotten Worlds Arcade is locking their doors, setting all arcade games to free, while Moon Dog Craft Brewery takes over the tap. Hungry gamers can grab food from BurgerTime Burger at the courtyard, and enter a Street Fighter 2 tournament.

DIY BEER
“Nothing is Finer Than Making Beer & Cider”
Cider lovers can put their DIY hat on as you crush fruit, press out juice, and add yeast with Golden Axe and Kaiju! Beer’s Callum and Nat Reeves. After all that work, enjoy a delicious lunch paired with the best local and international beers and ciders. Don’t forget to pop back 3 weeks later to collect your very own DIY cider!

Brew Your Own – Bad Sheppard Brewing Co.
If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to craft your own beer, you’ve got to try this! Home brewer turned pro brewer, Dereck Hales, will teach you the basics of beer-making, all while you enjoy some smoked meats paired with a selection of Bad Sheppard’s finest brews.

Cooking with Craft Beer Masterclass
Huxtable meets Wolf of Willows in this hands-on three-course fine dining meal. Get your hands dirty as you marinate, brine, baste, batter, blanch, and more with craft beer. Cooking novice? Not to worry, hatted chef, Daniel Wilson has got your back. He’ll prepare some delish dishes that’ll leave your tummy more than satisfied.

BEER LOVERS
Boozy Bavarian Brunch
When it comes to beer, Germans know their stuff! They also know how to knock up a really good brekky. Think white sausages, delicious pretzels, potato rosti, and smoked house ham. So soak up some sun in Munich Brauhaus‘ bier garden, and enjoy the view of the Yarra, stein in hand.

Trunk Garden Party II
It’s the ultimate beer garden! Knock back a few pots from Bridge Road Brewers (we love their Hefe Weizen!) and munch on Trunk’s delish Wagyu burger. There’ll also be some beer trivia for all the beer aficionados!

Crafty Crowd-Pleaser
This is a pub-crawl for the Melbourne hop-lover! Pop into some of Melbourne’s best pubs starting with the Botanical, and finishing off at the Colonial Brewing Company. While at Colonial, we suggest trying one of their Special Project beers! Enjoy your beer with some mouthwatering BBQ, and don’t forget to join in on all the beer-inspired games!
