The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival is back again and looking better and yummier than ever. From March 4 to 13, indulge in good food and fine wine as you enjoy the best local artisans, chefs, and winemakers have to offer. With over 250 events, there’s something for everyone! But we’ve selected the top 4 boozy events to get the party started.

Mad Hatter’s Marsanne Party
What happens when you put together iconic Victorian winery Tahbilk, the mixology skills of Madame Brussels’ bartenders, and dessert queen Christy Tania from Om Nom? You get a magical Mad Hatter’s Marsanne Party of course! So get ready to indulge in some scrumptious desserts and free flowing Marsanne.

Rooftop Garden
Want to learn how to make the best cocktails? The secret is in the herbs and flowers you add. If you’d rather drink than create, kick back and relax with a beer from Barrow Boys or a cocktail crafted by bartenders from ‘By The Glass’. You can also grab a bite to eat from the Burn City Smoker guys.

Cider Orchard
Don’t worry! We haven’t forgotten our fruitier loving friends. Take a masterclass and drink some delicious cider from Mirvac. We can’t wait to try out their cider slushies. Those wanting to give their livers a rest can also grab a nonalcoholic version.

The G&T Project
Those wanting a stronger buzz can hit up the G&T Project. Try some delish gin cocktails, and learn everything you’d ever want to know about gin – including how to make the best G&T!

Out of Town
Don’t forget to also check out what regional Victoria has to offer. Our picks include Vineyard Polo, Paddock to Park Carnivore’l, and the Wine Food Farmgate on the Bay.

#FOMO
Other standout events include World’s Longest Lunch, A Gin Experience in a Beach Box, MasterClass Hands On, and The Buttermilk Chicken Wars. Much to our disappointment, they’ve sold out, but keep an eye out for 2017’s MFWF and get your tickets early the next time around!
