Just when you thought cheap Tuesday movies couldn’t get any cheaper, Southgate Melbourne re-opens their outdoor pop-up cinema, for FREE!
Over the next couple of months Southgate will be screening a different movie each Tuesday night right in the heart of their restaurant and shopping precinct, so you can enjoy a cheeky little beer from Hophaus or some amazing, fresh seafood at Waterfront (after all, you can afford a little splurge when your entertainment is free!)
But hold on to your deck chair, because it’s about to get even cooler!
Southgate Cinema is Melbourne’s only silent cinema, meaning you will be provided with a set of headphones and an audio kit to listen to the film, which we think is pretty groovy! Also the super cool guys at Bluetrain will be serving snacks and refreshments before and throughout each film, and not to worry if the weather takes a turn (we are in Melbourne, after all!) the seats are undercover with a spectacular view of the city skies through the open atrium, so you’ve pretty much got all bases covered!
Southgate Cinemas in Spring kicks off on Tuesday the 6th of October at 8pm, with St Vincent. It’s going to be a pretty popular attraction so online bookings are essential!
