Gertrude Opera presents a festival of opera across ten days in the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges.

The Yarra Valley Opera Festival puts you, the audience, at its heart: it exists to move you with thrilling stories, superb music and astounding voices.

Held in an intimate 250 seat pop-up theatre with tiered seating, let the story, music and singing reverberate acoustically around you, with brilliant sets, lighting, and costumes your visual feast.

Surrounded by the rustic charm of a working farm at Olinda Yarra, Yering, arrive early to enjoy a glass of wine, a cocktail or picnic, wander the grounds.

View a specially commissioned local artist exhibition, and cavort with farm animals as the stage is set.

Australia’s only opera festival features international artists, satellite performances and local art activities, just 50 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD.
