Australia’s leading life insurance specialist, TAL, is calling on Australians to embrace sun safety and commit to getting a skin check from a qualified professional this summer.
To help more Australians enjoy the summer months with confidence, TAL has launched ‘TAL SpotChecker’, a series of pop-up clinics that provide free skin checks from specialist skin cancer doctors at some of Australia’s most iconic locations, including Federation Square in Melbourne (27-28 January).
Skin cancer is one of Australia’s most common cancers, with almost 14,000 people estimated to be affected this year[1], but it is also one of the most readily detectable. It’s with that in mind that leading life insurer, TAL has launched TAL SpotChecker.
TAL is always looking for new ways to protect this Australian life, and helping Australians understand sun safety to embrace the summer with confidence is one of them.
Research from the Cancer Council shows that early detection of skin cancer can increase chances of successful treatment.
Through TAL SpotChecker, TAL is aiming to provide skin checks to over 27,000 Australians this year.
