Sparkling Pinot and Petanque

saturday

From 12pm till 5pm guests are invited to spend an afternoon playing petanque while sipping on sparkling wine and grazing cheese boards in the stunning gardens at the historic winery – and don’t worry if you have never played the game before – the team from the Woodend Hanging Rock Petanque Club will offer tips and tricks of the game.
With the only underground Cellar Door in the region, guests can also experience a Blind Tasting session or sample locally made liquors from Herbal Lore or craft beers from Tooborc Brewery and more.
A jumping castle will keep the kids entertained and adults can join in on the grape stomping competition. There will be food available onsite including Cleveland’s famous woodfire pizzas and bites from Donald & Tuck Food Van.
This family friendly event is a great way to relax and unwind, sit back on the lawn and take in the stunning surrounds of the Macedon Ranges while watching games of petanque and enjoying the live music.
