Shimmerlands – Outdoor screening of The Magnificent Seven

From the creators of Shadow Electric comes two months of high-quality programming throughout the daylight and night hours, featuring an outdoor cinema, outdoor music amphitheatre, multiple bars and an outdoor dining area hosting an extensive range of Melbourne’s finest restaurants.

A remake of John Sturges’ 1960s horse opera of the same name (which itself was based upon Akira Kurosawa’s 1954 Japanese epic Seven Samurai), The Magnificent Seven sees Antoine Fuqua enlist an all-star cast of Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio and more in the saddle for one of the most lawless and rebellious films of the year.
