Following a successful season at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, “renowned improv legend” (The Plus Ones) Mark Gambino brings The Return of Grazie Fibonacci back to the stage one last time before banishing him to underworld.
Written and performed by this 18-year improv comedy veteran (The Big HOO-HAA! Melbourne, Impro Melbourne); The Return of Grazie Fibonacci is a solo sketch comedy interrogation of the awkwardness of modern life. Delving into topical themes – like toxic masculinity, historical patriarchal hangovers and social responsibility – Gambino unabashedly vivisects the paradoxes underlying Western culture’s perceptions of male conduct and lays bare a society unable or unwilling to accept responsibility for its failings.
Directed by Golden Gibbo Nominee, Elly Squire AKA Clara Cupcakes (The Worst, WHOM) – the show is a short and sharp comedy hit that is equal parts silly, sweet and philosophical. If you love Portlandia, Lady Dynamite, The Mighty Boosh or Key & Peele, you’ll love The Return of Grazie Fibonacci!
