Port Phillip Ferries is celebrating the launch of a new route from Geelong to Portarlington with a wine and dine cruise in partnership with local wineries: Terindah Estate and Scotchman’s Hill.
The maiden voyage through Corio Bay will invite guests from Geelong and beyond to experience an evening on the Bellarine Peninsula. Departing from Geelong, the ferry will cruise along the bay to Portarlington where a courtesy bus will be waiting to take guests to enjoy local wine experiences.
Arriving first at Scotchman’s Hill, guests will be treated to a unique wine tasting in their recently launched cellar door in the old French-provincial style farmhouse. Before being chauffeured to Terindah Estate for a two-course dinner and matched with estate-made wines in their signature restaurant, The Shed.
A boutique winery, Terindah Estate boasts spectacular views across the open lawns, vines and Port Phillip Bay and serves quality, seasonal and local produce, all beautifully cooked by head chef, Ivan Roianov.
At sunset, the ferry will depart from Portarlington and return to Geelong for beautiful closing scenery on Corio Bay.
