Meet the Artist: Bill Henson

Globally renowned and thought-provoking Australian photographer Bill Henson will appear at The Glen as part of a rare, public ‘meet the artist’ event and insightful Q&A session.

Reminiscing about his childhood suburb of Glen Waverley, Henson will take a trip down memory lane and discuss his latest exhibition, ‘the light fades but the gods remain’ – on display at the nearby Monash Gallery of Art (MGA), with a capsule exhibition on show at The Glen in our custom-built gallery space, which features regular photographic exhibitions curated by MGA.

The Glen together with MGA, invites art lovers, culture buffs and passionate local historians to experience this exclusive free event with Bill Henson. Enjoy complimentary refreshments followed by an intimate Q&A discussion hosted by MGA Director, Anoushka Phizacklea, with Bill Henson expected to delve into his childhood memories.
