Junior parkrun

Kids run free – National free community activity parkrun has launched Junior parkrun at Westerfold’s park, Templestowe.

Every week Junior parkrun gives children aged 4 – 14 years the freedom to run a kid-friendly 2km course with their peers, free of charge, managed solely by volunteers.

Time to get the indoor generation outside! “Junior parkrun offers families the opportunity for kids to engage in organised physical activity, free of charge. Parents know the kids will be outdoors, exercising and safe. And they know they can commit to it because it doesn’t carry a cost.” said parkrun CEO Tim Oberg.
