It’s Not Funny

thu - fri

After selling out shows at this year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival, improviser and comedian Fiannah de Rue (The Improv Conspiracy) is bringing her debut solo show It’s Not Funny to Melbourne Fringe.

In a whirlwind of heartfelt and hilarious story-telling inspired by the grief of losing her father at 21, Fiannah will share with you the inner workings of her mind, which she likens to that of a stoned thirteen year old boy. Discover her fascination with whales, her deeply rooted love of the classic Aussie cop drama Blue Heelers and giggle along with her at those funny little pearls you find in the dark and gloomy oyster of death. Sometimes, it is funny, and it’s okay to laugh.

Directed by Hayley Tantau.
