Hokusai features more than 170 works created by the everlastingly popular artist, Katsushika Hokusai. The works span across his entire career and feature woodblock prints, rare paintings on silk never-before-seen in Australia, hand-printed manga (illustrated books) and one of the most recognisable and reproduced images in the history of Asian art, ‘The great wave’.
