Big West Festival

In it’s tenth year, the Big West Fest, community-based contemporary arts festival, celebrates the West and the meanings this place holds for its residents. The theme this year is the inner and outer world of the House and the artists have interpreted this in unique ways which you’ve just gotta see – Artists have turned theatres into houses and houses into theatres. There’s angels and man-rabbits, industrial soundscapes of sirens and massed choirs. See a show in a wardrobe, a woman hanging from a window, a whole house seemingly fallen from the sky..And that’s just a taste of the Big West Fest!
