Baw Baw Brew Fest (On The Go)

Every year millions of people flock to Germany for the biggest beer festival in the world, this year Mt Baw Baw is aiming to bring that experience a little closer to home.

Saturday July 22 and Sunday July 23, Mt Baw Baw will be hosting its own Brew Fest as an ode to Oktoberfest and a celebration of European culture right here at our Alpine Resort. Think lederhosen and schnitzels to be enjoyed surrounded by the Australian snow gums and layers of snow.

After a day of hitting the slopes, treat yourself to some authentic German food, there will be delicious kranksys, traditional pretzels and bratwurst on offer. To wash it down you’ll have your pick of a range of craft beers by local Gippsland brewery Grand Ridge and ciders also available for the occasion.

Located just 150km from Melbourne’s CBD, Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort is the city’s closest downhill ski and snowboard resort.
