We already love fashion hunting amongst some of the most coveted brands in one of Melbourne’s greatest shopping precincts and now we can rest our weary feet after a day of shopping and catch a great flick in the summer air at the same venue, right in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD.

Welcome, QV Outdoor Cinema, we’re as ready for you as we are for this seasons newest collections hot off the runway!

Staying right on trend QV is dishing up the perfect combo of deckchairs, astroturf, films and that classic Melbourne laneway atmosphere to pull together your ultimate summer night.

As a beautiful ode to Melbourne and what Summer is all about, each film has been selected to coincide with themes like Australia Day, reflected by Baz Lurmhan’s Romeo and Juliet, the Festive season is celebrated by cult classics Home Alone and Elf, and there is also a handful of picks of films that really just have to be seen on the big screen, like Guardian’s of The Galaxy!

The season kicks off with a FREE screening of The Devil Wears Prada, a perfect fit for an outdoor cinema surrounded by fashion! Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love seeing Anne Hathaway post-makeover! But get in quick to secure your tickets, they’re bound to sell out quick!

And no one has been left out! Audiences are encouraged to bring along their four legged friends to a special screening of Best In show on the 12th of December, with all proceeds going to The Lost Dogs Home. Dress up your pooch in their best festive outfit for a chance to win The Best Dressed Dog Competition!

Check out the December program that launched today, fork out just $12 for your ticket to the film of your choice (absolute bargain!) and arrive early to order movie munchies from Grill’d to Max Brenner, or even a cheeky ice-cream cone from Movenpick!

QV Outdoor Cinema will be open from the 1st to the 20th of December, before taking a short break over Christmas and New years and then making a fashionable come back in January.

You do have to wait until Dec to enjoy the show, so if you’re hunting for something to do this weekend, just check out what made it On The List.
